Every situation makes you stronger and for that you are beautiful!

When you think you have come to your lowest point, sometimes everything can turn around all at once and you’ll truly appreciate those highs.

Letting go of things past is hard.
In trying to move forward in life, we often have to reflect upon the lessons that the past has given us. There are the explicit lessons that we learn growing up. Many of them are positive. But there are also the hardships that make growing up so damn difficult.
Those hardships create fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of commitment, fear of injury and danger. But in each of those hardships, a lesson has been created. We learn to accept what we liked, what we didn’t like, what worked, what didn’t work, what we’d do differently should that moment come again.
Holding onto that past, staying angry, sad, or dejected, will only torture you more. You’ll keep replaying things that went wrong, things you could have done differently, things you wish you had known. Unfortunately it’s just not how life works out.
“When you finally let go of the past, something better WILL come along”. Because you will have past experience to know that this time, things will be different - good different.
For those who have never had the pain of going through a “bad life experience”, do you really think they’ve found that ultimate point of happiness, or do you think that perhaps they’ve settled for something that’s “ok to live with”…?
Just another thought in a life lesson.

Favorite musical of all time, with words I still tell myself to this day:

Something has changed within me Something is not the sameI’m through with playing by the rulesOf someone else’s gameToo late for second-guessingToo late to go back to sleepIt’s time to trust my instinctsClose my eyes, and leap! I’m through accepting limits‘cause someone says they’re soSome things I cannot changeBut til I try, I’ll never know!

It’s time to try defying gravity.

Favorite musical of all time, with words I still tell myself to this day:

Something has changed within me
Something is not the same
I’m through with playing by the rules
Of someone else’s game
Too late for second-guessing
Too late to go back to sleep
It’s time to trust my instincts
Close my eyes, and leap

I’m through accepting limits
‘cause someone says they’re so
Some things I cannot change
But til I try, I’ll never know!

It’s time to try defying gravity.
